The Allflex Sorting Gate takes the time-consuming admin out of the sorting process, providing reliable and accurate sorting for maximum efficiency in daily work.
Working with Allflex cow monitoring and identification technologies, the Allflex Sorting Gate automates sorting, simplifying the task, while ensuring accuracy and saving time. Built-in safety features improve cow welfare and reduce stress, enabling a calm and secure environment for your cows and your team.
Cows can be automatically sorted from preconfigured lists, standard or custom reports, or according to parameters defined directly by users in the parlor or via the Allflex terminal or mobile apps. When used with cSense Flex cow monitoring neck tags, cows in heat or in need of attention can be sorted automatically or manually, eliminating the risk of human error.

Weekly Maintenance Tasks
- Check alignment and position of all Photocell brackets.
- Clean the 6 x Photocells with a damp cloth to remove debris.
- After cleaning the photocells, check the lights under each emitter go out when the beam is broken.
- Clean the 2 x IDU510 ID Units overhead with a damp cloth to remove any debris and ensure that they are positioned correctly to read tags.
- After cleaning the IDU510 check lights flash by breaking the beam of Photocell 1.
- Grease all moving parts such as the Texas Gate (Nipples & slide mechanism) and hinges of Separation Gate.
Monthly Maintenance Tasks
- Drain the Air Pressure Regulator to remove any moisture build up in the system.
- Check the condition of the floor to ensure the legs are firmly secured and no cracking of the surface has occurred.
- Put the gate in manual and check gate speeds, adjust brass exhaust valves if necessary.
- Check all air pipes to ensure no kinks or splits are present.
- Check all framework nuts and bolts to make sure they are firmly in place.
- Clean framework of the gate to allow general visual inspection.
Please do not power wash, steam clean or jet wash any of the electronic components of the gate.
